Any date is in roman numerals, combined with text in any other language. The text is between two rails of the same color, over a background of contrasting color. Can be made in reverse colors and in platinum and 18K gold combinations. Standard is 14K gold.

Can be made reverse: White gold design on yellow gold background, or all in white gold or all in yellow gold.

The standard width is 7mm wide and available as 6mm or 8mm.
